Are you depressed, bitter, angry and not understanding what’s going on in your life; are you fearful of the future, do you feel like God has let you down or more than that that you let God down; are you struggling with thoughts of the past, things that you have done and seen that are stuck in your head and nag at you daily; do you feel like you are an odd ball and that you just don’t fit in anywhere; do you feel that, at times, are in a very dark place? Well join the Christian world; welcome to the club, welcome my brothers and sisters to this life, Welcome to the battle
(2 Corinthians 10:3-6) (Ephesians 6:12)
God brings us through, sometimes, awful things in this life to get us to look unto Him, to get us to draw near Him, to get us into His Living Word, to get us in the prayer closet, to show us that in our utter weakness He is our only strength, our only Hope , our only Life
(2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
You are exactly who you are because God designed you do be who you are; it doesn’t matter one iota how you got here; you have gone through what you have gone through because God has ordained , before earths foundation, that you go through it.
If you are in Gods family, you are most beloved as anyone you can think of, as Christ Himself
(John 17:20-23)
So get your mind off yourself and your minuscule problems, and get into His Holy, Perfect, and Infallible Word and trust in His sovereign plan for your life and then you will see your life truly change as you trust more and more in Him (The Word).
We , then, will begin to say, as Job
Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him! (Job 13:15)
For You will light my lamp;
The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
For who is God, except the LORD?
And who is a rock, except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength,
And makes my way perfect.
He makes my feet like the feet of deer,
And sets me on my high places.
He teaches my hands to make war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
(Psalm 18:28-34)
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
(Psalm 119:105)
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
