A Solid Foundation (Part 1)

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.    2Ti 3:16-17 NKJV

You have at your fingertips a solid foundation upon which to build your life. The Word of God contained in the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments show you how you can glorify God and enjoy Him forever. It is not that the scriptures contain all answers to every possible question, but rather that, by God’s mercy and kindness, they contain everything that the man and woman of God may be complete.

The Word of God does this by pointing us to Jesus as the creator God and Lord and savior of all things. For it is vital to note that the Word of God is not magical, as if by merely owning the book we will be complete, but rather by diligent use of the ordinary means of grace we might grow in our knowledge and understanding of our creator as revealed in the scriptures. The Word preached and prayed and meditated upon is a solid foundation for your life.
